Thank you for your interest in Sofie’s HeartBound Shelf! I am always thrilled to discover new romance authors and connect with publishing houses and PR agencies.

As a passionate book lover I love writing an providing honest, high quality reviews! 

Genres I Accept

I read exclusively within the Romance Genre Spectrum. I accept books across all sub-genres, with a heavy emphasis on:

• Sweet & Fluffy Contemporary Romance
• Small Town Romance
• Dark, Intense, and Spellbinding Dark Romance
• New Adult & Romantic Suspense

My favorite authors include: Catherine Cowles, Rina Kent, Rebecca Jenshak, Elsie Silver, Stephanie Archer, Liz Tomforde, and Sloane St. James. If your book matches the vibes of these authors, we are a perfect fit!

What I Do Not Accept

Please do not pitch books outside the romance umbrella. I do not currently accept:

• Non-Fiction, Memoirs, or Self-Help
• Sci-Fi / High Fantasy (unless it features a prominent romance plot)
• Thrillers / Horror / Mystery (unless it falls under Romantic Suspense)

 Preferred Formats

• Physical Books: Highly preferred! As a dedicated book collector, physical copies will always receive aesthetic photography (featuring my blurred-shelf layout) and prominence across my channels.
• Digital Copies: Kindle / EPUB files delivered directly or via NetGalley.

What My Reviews Include

Every book reviewed on Sofie’s HeartBound Shelf receives a review in my normal format consisting of:

1. A spoiler-free rating out of 5 stars.
2. A detailed Trope Checklist.
3. A comprehensive Spice/Steam Rating (crucial for romance readers!).
4. Clear Content & Trigger Warnings to ensure reader safety.
